Sweeteners like agave, maple syrup, and raw sugar prevents fluctuating energy caused by refined sugar.

- Drink plenty of water. Drink half your body weight in ounces. Spring or filtered water is best.

Other flaws with most of the banana diets revolve around the impact of having too much sugar intake on a daily basis (bananas taste good because they're mainly a sweet sugar in composition), and building up insulin resistance, which can lead to health problems later in life.
